As we look back on 2025, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for all God has done. This has been a year of growth, transformation, and impact—lives changed, families reached, community deepened, and new opportunities opened. In 2025, 61 people made the decision to start a relationship with Jesus and become His apprentices.

Canvas grew by 22% in 2025 and by 78% over the past two years. We are grateful to God for allowing us to serve so many people each week at Canvas.

100% growth in Canvas Kids

2025 was the largest year of growth for Canvas Kids. Each week, new families are attending Canvas and plugging into this quickly growing ministry.

151 people serving on the Dream team

Canvas is not built on the strengths and sacrifices of a few, but of many. Over the past two years, our volunteer team has grown by 86%.

Love Week 2025 was our largest and most impactful Love Week yet! We partnered with 9 nonprofits for 11 events over 6 days. It was an incredible week of loving San Francisco together!

Hire a Family Ministries Director

Due to the growth of Canvas, we need to expand our leadership team beyond Pastors Travis and Jena. We are actively pursuing a Family Ministries Director who can help us better serve and grow our fastest-growing ministry—Canvas Kids. This role will also free Jena to provide greater leadership and oversight to Canvas Groups, helping more people get connected and experience intentional community.

Launch Canvas Students

We’re excited to share that Canvas Students is launching in 2026! This will meet a significant need and allow us to invest in—and help shape—the next generation.

More spaces for community and spiritual formation

In 2025, we focused on our two primary spaces for spiritual formation—Alpha and the Practicing the Way Course. With 162 people engaging, we’re now ready to create even more spaces for connection and growth by adding additional groups in 2026.

Two trips to partner with our Global Justice Partners

In 2026, we are excited to host two Justice Partner trips to serve alongside our partners in Uganda and Mexico. We can’t wait to serve our global neighbors on these two powerful trips!

Where will my 2025 Year-End giving go?

Your 2025 Year-End Giving goes directly toward funding our goals and budget for 2026. This includes supporting day-to-day operations, future hires, ministry growth, our monthly local and global Justice Partner support, and all of the big and exciting initiatives we’re believing for in the year ahead. Your generosity fuels the mission of Canvas and makes a real impact.

What is the deadline for the 2025 Year-End Matching Campaign?

The Year-End Matching Campaign ends on December 31 at 11:59pm. To be included in your 2025 giving statement, all donations must be received before that deadline. Thank you for giving generously and helping us finish the year strong!

Is there a deadline for Stock & Crypto donations?

Yes, all stock and crypto donations must be submitted by 12/10 so they can be liquidated and included in your 2025 giving statement.

Are there tax benefits if I give Stock or Crypto?

Yes! Donating stock or crypto can be one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. When you give appreciated assets directly, you avoid paying capital gains tax—and you can still deduct the full fair-market value of the gift on your taxes. And because the church receives 100% of the value of the asset once it’s liquidated, your generosity goes even further. It’s a win-win for you and for Canvas.

Can I give from a Donor Advised Fund?

Yes! You can give to Canvas through a Donor Advised Fund. Simply recommend a grant to Canvas Church, and your gift will be sent directly to us. It’s an easy and tax-efficient way to support the mission, and every contribution—no matter the amount—helps move our vision forward.
