What fuels us.

Our Beliefs

Value 1

Jesus.

Far more than just a good teacher.
Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life.
Value 2

Humans.

Beautiful, complex, and sacred.
We believe that all humans are made in the image of God and is worth of love, dignity, and honor. While no human is perfect, the first word that God declares about humans is "good." So we believe in original human goodness and seek to see that in all people. Additionally, as image bearers of the creative God, we believe that all humans are created to create in partnership with God. Our aim is to help empower people to create a future worth fighting for and to build the Kingdom wherever they are.
Value 3

The Bible.

A sacred, mysterious, and historical collection of literature.
The Bible is a sacred, mysterious, and historical collection of ancient books of various literary genres. While it was written by human authors, we believe it was done so under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit and is vital in guiding the follower of Jesus into what it means to be fully alive.
Value 4

The Church.

Not a program or a place, but a people.
The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.
Value 5

Justice.

Wherever there is justice, there is Jesus.
We believe that God is for the oppressed and fighting for the marginalized. As a community we are committed justice is not just a social issue, it is a Gospel issue. We are committed resisting all forms of injustice that degrades or diminishes the value or dignity of a fellow human who bears the image of God. In short, we believe where there is justice there is Jesus. So we will continue to show up and do the hard work of justice in our world.
